I will never ever forget the horrible experience I had here. It was a few years ago and at the time I couldn’t even think about the experience, nor did I feel that leaving a review would do anything. But I do want to leave it, so people can weigh their options. I brought my bird in an emergency after he had what seemed to be a seizure. I was terrified, crying the whole time, and in a panic. I didn’t have that much money. This made the vet very frustrated with me. He was scowling, irritated, and huffing and puffing. He barely examined my bird, just held him and lifted his wings. Then he wanted $200 for doing that. That was all the money I had so I gave it to him and left with no resolution. He then accused me of simply not WANTING to spend more than that. But it was truly everything I had. I was a poor college student. I wish now more than anything that I had had enough money to save my bird but I also wish that I had gone somewhere else. I don’t expect any vet to go beyond the charge of their services, but it is very likely that another vet would have been kind and apologetic and empathetic to me. I do not think the man at this clinic is capable of feeling empathy toward human beings. I couldn’t stop crying and just wanted my bird to be okay and he told me “I’m being as nice as I can”. My bird died a few days later. I still grieve him and I know now that I am older and have more means available to me, that I would pick any other vet I can find. I would travel very far before coming back to this man. He’s just cruel. Edit to say that this vet will lie in his replies and defend himself rudely, hoping future clients will take his word over people who have actually come to him for their animals treatment. I said in my review that I expect no vet to go above what they charge for services, and my biggest gripe was how he treated me. I’ve never been treated so cruelly by a service provider in my life. He can say it isn’t true, but I have zero incentive to come here and make that up. I get nothing out of it. I just wanted to share my experience. Maybe in his mind and reality he thought he was being nice to me while he was huffing and puffing and telling me he’s being as nice as he can and accusing me of not wanting to spend the money to save my bird. I would have paid any price if it was in my bank account. I would have paid thousands. I loved my bird dearly. That’s all. Rest in peace, Peaches

Had to bring our puppy in for an emergency visit. He came in after hours and treated our puppy.

Called here when my puppy was in a full blown health crisis. Calmly told the guy who answered the phone what was going on with my dog. After letting him speak to me as if I were a complete idiot, and after letting him tell me the "visit price list" three times, I asked him if I could please bring my dog to get checked out. I told him I can pay for the visit three times. He refused to treat my dog because he did not want to help my "rude" family. Said I repeatedly interrupted and ignored him. If I could put 0 stars, I would. 👎👎👎
